Sunny morning tomato

I have been waiting since February to say: The first tomatoes are ripening! Early accolades go to Napoli a Fiaschetto, which got plopped in the south flower bed when my tomato count hit 38 (two others soon followed). Thing is, it’s ripening orange, and it’s reputed to be a red. The plant is also looking peaked. I blame its neighbors.

I’ve also finally found out that this pretty little number is known as Asiatic dayflower.
